I could not believe the doctor’s words. My world was engulfed in a fog, and I could not see my hand in front of my face. Now she explained the cause for the fog was cataracts. The best news was she could remove them. Little did I know I was about to embark on a marvelous journey with God in the months prior to surgery.
I was born with a visual impairment which progressed slowly until 2011, when it accelerated rapidly. While I was learning to live as a blind person, God called me to write. He gave me beauty for ashes.
